To make a part from glass or carbon fiber first thing required is the model, which will be used to make the mold. Then using the mold the end-part will be made.
Here we see an example of a part (top) and a model of the part (bottom). This model will be used for mold making. In the end we’ll get the final part from carbon fiber detached from the mold.

In a similar manner we make other composite parts. For example this U-channel from carbon fiber. It was made the same way – first there was the model, then the form, and finally this part.
