Nose assembly with control elements is 90% ready. In the meantime we are working on left hand wing assembly.
Wing ribs are created using innovative technology. Rib walls are cut from vacuumed sandwich panels. A thin carbon fiber strips are bonded to upper and lower sides, creating an H profile of the rib. For bonding epoxy structural adhesive is used. As a result we get a lightweight construction with excellent bending and torsional resistance.
Aileron control rods are made of bent 6061-T6 aluminum alloy tubes. For bending we created our own tool.
Torque for aileron actuation is transmitted using cranks made of the same type aluminum alloy angles by CNC milling.
